Sylveon is great because of it's bulk and typing, it's the best right now.

Jolteon/Espeon are both solid.

Umbreon/Vaporeon are ok, very niche. Others do their job much better but aren't bad enough to be in the last tier.

Rest are shit.

Sylveon is a good cleric in UU, Umbreon is a good tank there as well. Pretty passive, only good for stallish teams.
Espeon having Magic Bounce makes it really good, and it was the reason BPass chains were so insanely powerful. I think it's sitting in middle UU right now. Vaporeon is sitting at the bottom of UU despite having decent usage, because of how many bulky waters there are, and it just has no niche over Alomomola as a fat water cleric.
Jolteon is great in RU as a sanic cleaner. Leafeon is great in PU, and Glaceon has a tiny niche there but it's pretty bad. Even in PU Flareon is terrible, sadly. It could be okay in FU, probably.

If you make a good set they can hold their own. I use a Leafeon in OU despite how crap it's supposed to be and it works very well as a sweeper, and I'm gonna try it as a wall with Def/HP EVs. 130 defense is nothing to sneeze at, even with grass typing and that low HP

swords dance and leaf blade are essentially mandatory. the problem with leafeon is that it's purely physical, both atk and def, but the shit grass resists is almost always special so if you switch it in to tank something it will take sizeable damage from it even if it resists it.

Nobody ever expects Aerial Ace. It's hilarious how much damage it does despite the low BP if you get something's weak to it, especial bugs that just switch in in you. I find it serves me better than X-Scissor, But it's good to deal with dark types that appear. I supposed you could also run it with Knock-Off instead of Return too

Same way, no one *ever* expects Yawn. I decides on it over Swords Dance because I just need to get it off once, and even if Leafeon dies it forces a switch or I get a free turn to set up with another mon or just wail with the Leafeon itself.

It's not the best set, But I have lots of fun with it. Usually I give leafbro a Life Orb or Razor Claw but on the high coverage sets I sneak in that held item that Powers up super effective attacks, because I'm a shitty memer karenfag that likes to use unexpected itens. BrightPowder also saved my ass many times and it's always hilarious
