Yup it was all /vp/ they saw the shitposting and made it just for us.

I dont think it was /vp/ specifically But I think it was due to everyone expecting a trailer. Like, seriously. This was the most basic of trailers. Pokemon cut ins and direct cut scenes from the game with no editing, along with no new information. The pokemon sun/moon site isn't even updated. I'm actually fairly certain this was a quick fix job.
