Hello /vp/,
I am completely new to competitive battling. I checked out some videos and shit and came up with this team... Does this look balanced? Criticism? Advide? Thanks in advance. General team r8 thread too.
my threads are never successful

Is this battle spot?
>>28501861
Yes
last bump before i fuck off
There's a lot more than just types; no one can do shit to help you if you don't post movesets
>>28502244
ok, working on the movesets rn. thanks
Did you EV train them? Breed for IV's?
I suggest pokemon showdown and smogon for a good start.
>>28501924
Doubles right?
>>28502244
moveset kinda seems like shit right now. I think I have too many steel type moves
>>28502410
This is a possible team I might make. I haven't done anything yet
>>28502478
Singles
>>28502500
I suggest giving a poison move to weezing so it doesn't get destroyed by taunt.
>>28502500
Don't use hyper beam, it's shit.
What items are you using?
>>28502737
Weezing-black sludge
Garchomp-Don't know. maybe draco plate or something
Vaporeon-leftovers
Lucario-lucarionite
Gardevoir-no idea desu. maybe pixie plate if I get pixilate ability?
bisharp-probably a lum berry
>>28502500
>Weezing
Use a poison attack instead of Will-O-Wisp or Toxic Spikes. Why having Will-O-Wisp, when you aim to poison as much as possible with the spikes or vice versa?
>Gardevoir
Why have a pretty strong fairy without a fairy STAB? Hyper beam is very very situational, so better use Moonblast.
>Garchomp
Garchomp is more of a physical attacker. So better use a physical dragon- and coverage move.
I think it sometimes is played mixed, but personally In my opinion focussing on either physical or special is more effective.
I'm also by no means an expert, but these would be my ideas.
>>28502850
Pixilate is only for mega gardevoir, so you woulnd't be able to hold an item anyway.
>>28503249
About the will o wisp thing- I heard something about it halving the opponent's attack. Poison+burn would also be deadly. About the gardevoir, do you think I should make it mega instead of the lucario? Also thank you for the solid advice
>>28501353
>>28502500
>no joke tabs
You're so boring.
>>28503645
I'm sorry senpai. I could do some joke tabs in a little bit just for you though :^)
>>28503410
You can't have two status ailments on one pokemon though. Never played the actual game and tried this (or had some dumb enemy who tried it)?
Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir are both strong. But both normal forms are also not bad.
So it's up to you, what you would prefer as a mega...or switch it up from battle to battle
>>28503410
I still recommend switching it for some offensive poison move. As it is, taunt would shut down your entire moveset, and you can't burn and poison the opponent at the same time.
It's up to you which one you mega evolve, but know that mega Lucario is generally considered the superior mega out of the two.
Like the anon above me said, give gardevoir a fairy type move aka moonblast.
And choice items and life orb are better than plates.
>>28501353
I strongly recommend you to ask somewhere else.
>>28503857
I think I'll switch either toxic spikes or will o wisp with sludge bomb. Thinking about using weezing as a lead, set up toxic spikes and stall a Pokemon into switching
>>28503945
Where? Leddit?
Also thank you again everybody for giving me a hand
>>28501353
>>28502500
Trade Vaporeon for Suicune, Quagsire, Tentacruel, or Lapras. I'm not a big fan of wish+protect and Heal Bell in addition, it's a deadweight. Give Icy wind or Ice Beam.
Is Gardevoir normal or mega?
Weezing with Poison Gas instead.
Need something with taunt/encore.
>>28503645
just for you senpai
Planning on replacing vaporeon with milotic; they're both the same type and milotic just seems overall better. Also bump
>>28504796
>how to unrape
I'm satisfied.
