There will probably be one eventually, but I highly doubt it's happening in gen 7. I wouldn't expect to see it at least until gen 8 or so.

The only argument I could see against there not being remakes is all the GB and GBA games can now be played on the 3ds, which DPPT can be too so they don't need to be remade. Who knows.
