Ghost. It's got a lot of my favorites.

Starting pokemon would probably be Duskull. I think Kalos might be my region of choice.

Ideal team would be keeping my Duskull bro, getting a Honedge, Lampent, and Phantump. Possibly Alola Marowak but that seems harder to get.

I'd probably use my ghosts to help explore ancient castles or ruins. Lampent helps with lighting, Duskull can phase through walls to scout around. Maybe eventually shoot for a gym leader position, since there isn't a Ghost Gym in Kalos, but probably would spend more time chilling and camping out.

As for waifus, there are plenty of cute hex maniacs around.

Fairy type trainer in Johto
start with Eevee that evolves into a Sylveon very soon after meeting

I'd have a Clefairy (it'd evolve to a Clefable) and a Jigglypuff with sass galore who never evolves (her evolutions largeness would interfere with her dream of stardom)

Aromatisse, who always sprays me in luscious scents to attract all the hot poké studs

Mawile and Gardevoir would be my battle aces, Gardevoir was found as a Ralts and evolved slowly throughout my journey through Johto and Kanto, Mawile was my first Pokemon I mega-evolved before Gardevoir.

my Alola Ninetales I find late in my journey as a Vulpix in snowy mountains, she watched me for several days and we seem to share an affinity with one another and she joins my team

I also have a Togekiss whose reliable for air travel.

My husbando would be Marlon, we bonded over my Sylveon and his Vaporeon being very friendly.

The only elite 4 I challenge is when I get to Sinnoh, Cynthia put the moves on my man so I go to wipe her smug face in my shitty asshole. My Fairy team ruins her considering her ace is a Fagchomp

Bug would be a horrible experience in Platinum, but I've done Poison and its easy. If anything the downside of doing a Poison run is that its got such a wide variety of Poison types your coverage is huge, so it barely feels like a mono run at all.

I will most likely settle down over at Lilycove, considering that it seems to be more convenient.

As for waifu, who knows. I doubt I can attract anyone, so it never really cross my mind.

Mono-Psychic, aka "shit type with mons so great it's practically cheating".

Starter: Ralts. Instant Dark check with Bug neutrality will be huge to start my journey with. Regardless which final evo I get in the end I'm going to end up with a powerful mega evolution that's going to stay my ace for the rest of my life.

Starting region: Kalos. Shitton of useful Psychics to capture and train (Alakazam, Delphox, Exeggutor, Gothitelle, Jynx, Malamar, Medicham, Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Slowbro/king) and a Psychic-type Gym Leader to study under.

Target team: I'd probably aim to get most if not all of above and frequently rotate my roster to become extremely unpredictible. Bug check (Delphox/Sigilyph) and Dark check (Mega Gardevoir/Gallade/Medicham) are a must no matter what, though. I'd definitely also seek out Bronzong or Metagross - Steel type is almost always an awesome glue to have. Psychic also has a ridiculous selection of various legendaries to potentially obtain. While I wouldn't scoof at anything that improves my lineup (not that I'd need any at this point), one legendary I'd love to have in particular is Meloetta - a much more reliable Ghost cockblock than Malamar is.

Long-term life goal: become a scientist with my Psychic Pokebros as assistants and invent cool shit. Also open a Jazz club as my side business. With the amount of scrubs running around Pokeworld being a dedicated competitive trainer would get boring really quickly, but I'd still enter select tournaments from time to time.

Waifu: bros before hoes.

I'd be a fire type trainer!

My starter would be a growlithe, total bro and becomes a badass Arcanine later on.

I'd start out in Kalos for all the waifus, beautiful places and cool clothes. would probably live in lumiose city, but I'd travel a lot, maybe try learn from Malva. My main goal would be, rather than to be a gym leader, to become successful in the battle chateau and use the experience and rank to aim to become one of the elite 4. Maybe I'd waifu Malva and then take over, being also a fire trainer.dunno. other choice is maybe open a nice cafe' with the money from battle chateau

i'd definitely be a bug trainer, start off in johto with my first partner heracross, after johto i'd travel to unova because it's comfy and has tons of cool bug mons. i would research bug types and write books about my discovers and adventures, then when i'm ready to settle down, i would marry roxie and open up my own nature reserve for bug pokémon from every region.

I think I'd like to be a rock type trainer (which seems to be surprisingly popular.

I'd start in Hoenn with my little buddy Archen and slowly make my way through the circuit of towns and landmarks, picking up a few team members on the way.

I'd stop off in Rustboro Gym early on to learn from the earnest and surprisingly cute instructor at the school, who to my surprise turns out to be a gym leader. To pay her back for her kindness, I'd go in search of rare fossils. I was going to wander anyway, and she seems nice.

My favourite Pokemon, simple enough to be an acceptable starter and, if I were lucky enough to have access to a mega, absolutely monstrous once I reach that level in my career.

I'm in a brand new world, why wouldn't I explore it? I'm sure I'd find a chance to settle down eventually, maybe as a Gym Leader or member of the Elite Four if I turned out to be skilled enough at battling, but I'd like to try out everything the new Pokemon world has to offer before I make any real decisions. Maybe I'll try a contest or two, visit the Battle Frontier to test my mettle, pun intended, and train at Mt Coronet to find out just how skilled the genie made me with my Steel-type Pokemon. Part of me wants to become an elusive vigilante, protecting Sinnoh from the threat of Team Galactic or anyone else who wanted to disturb peace with her Pokemon, but what trainer doesn't want to be the hero?

Being born in Kanto my family moved to Sinnoh.
For education purposes I moved to Hoenn on my own and worked there at the Mossdeep space center.
Later I became famous like that black science negroe, talking about space and stuff on television.
Having to travel a lot, love eventually had me settled in Kalos, were i built a house in the upper class suburbs of Lumiose city.

Being a young boy who grew up in Orania City my friends and I spend whole weekends in the fields of route 11. We always fantasized about how we'd someday beat Lt. Surge.
Of course we caught ourselves a Diglett each with our first Pokéballs.
Surge became our P.E. teacher in 5th grade after he decided he was too old for being a gym leader. Those were good times, he kept training electric types and would do training battes with us.
He also pitted us against each other and held tournaments. In 7th grade my diggy evolved into Dugtrio.
Three years ago I did one of my visits to my old hometown, meeting with friends and also surge.
He talked about the war, wich he never did before. He had many people admiring him and his funeral later that year was visited by many officials, but of course the towns people came to. In that same fall i had to bury my diggy.

In 6th grade my father took us onto a surprise trip to Johto. We mostly did sightseeing, even visited the League it shared with Kanto back in the day.
We also went to see the Johto falls, where i saw a whooper. It just followed me around being all happy. When we went into the car he just kept bumping into the door.
That was the first and only time my mother used the F-word. "Fuck it" she said, grabbed a net ball, encapsulated the little guy and gave him to me.
He's been chilling in our family's pond ever since. One of the first things we did in our new house in Sonnoh was to dig up a new one. I missed him quite a lot when I was in Hoenn.
Now I have him back though, in my very own garden pond.

Kanto was never really warm, nor too hot. But Sinnoh was cold as fuck. Even in Orburgh city there was snow 4-5 months a year. I really had a hard time adapting to the climatic change.
What made me love the snow was skiing. We moved after i had finished 9th grade, so instead of spending the summer on a beach I stayed in a skiing camp close to snowpoint. I met great people there,
some even from Oreburgh. Needless to say i had no problem fitting in at my new school.
On our last day I found a small Swinub, that i grew quite fond off. I took it with me and also brought it to camp every year after that. In the second year it evolved into Piloswine when it tried carrying me to the base
after i got a concussion skiing right into a tree.
Even after graduating I returned to the camp, but those times as counsellor. I had to do a crash course at the candice foundation for mountain rescues, where piloswine learned ancient power in order to evolve into Manoswine.
In the last years he couldnt handle warm weather to well, so he stayed with the foundation. He roams the mountainside to help lost wanderers if he finds them, occasionally returning to base for food.
He is very kind to children, and is called Manny by the local mountaineers.

That little bastard attacked me and Piloswine in my third time at skiing camp. He ripped out one of Manny's tusks. It was in the middle of the night, and I couldn't see shit. To make things worse he evolved into Gliscor
right when he charged us. My favorite piggy saved us when he tackled a nearby cliff, which send some bigass icycles crashing onto our attacker. I caught him instantly and thought he'd die. But Gliscors are tough customers.
He's been my main squeeze in battles ever since.

She was so cute wih her smug grin when i first saw her. I lived in mossdeep, visiting university already when i first met her. She was sitting in a terrarium one of the biology profs had set up. After he was arrested for illegally
cultivating shitloads of odd-oddishs (the "groooovy" ones) the faculty tried to distribute all the other Pokemon he left behind. I remeber rushing into the dean's office and claiming shauna for myself.
She was always getting into trouble, wich got me many interesting fights and 4 or five black eyes. She evolved pretty fast and i ended up with a huge Krookodile in the end of my second semester.

After graduating and working a few years at Mossdeep Space center our department was approached by a big broadcasting channel. They wanted to film a documentary about the Deoxys,
which come visiting the space Pillar from time to time. We had establishd a small laboratory at its base and installed a telescope on top.
In the end we spend three weeks there. In that time I befriended a little Golett. It was very much into punching and i trained with it, to pass time when my colleague was adjusting our equipment.
One day the producer walked up to me and asked if I wanted to challenge a deoxys if we actually found one, since it would be great material. Of course i declined, because that sounded stupidly dangerous.
I have never been an ace, training and battling professionally after all.
But the more i had to do with television the more i liked the idea, as battling is a major theme in entertainment to this day. The breaking point was when I attended battling with the stars. We could bring six Pokemon,
so that was the first time i brought together all of my companions for a longer period of time. Everyone who watched the show (god damn that's four years ago already) knows that worked quite well and we won.
Soon after that we picked up the idea of battling Deoxys again.
Golett had evolved to golurk in the semifinals of bwts.
When we confronted the alien Pokemon it felt like it knew we were ready. And when Golo's Shadowpunch hit it for the final blow it felt like the biggest achievement me and my Pokemon had ever reached.

Nowadays I spend my days eating petit fours in the various cafés of Lumiose with my lovely wife. Sometimes i visit diggy's monument when I'm in Kanto. I still show up at the skiing camp in Sinnoh,
spending a couple of days with manny. Shauna does better public work than me, but I still get invited to the university for official events. Whooper just chills in my pond as usual. Gliscor lives at my parent's house
and often flys to the mountainsite to sparr with Manny. Golurk lives with us in Kalos where it helps me with watching the night sky when I'm not working.
I lately adopted a little cubone, let's hope it will grow into a strong Pokemon like the other mons I had the pleasure meeting.

Lopunny were his first captured and quickly evolved at their earliest possibility. Skitty would be given a moon stone immediately at a very young age before it had a chance to mature. Chansey may seem like a sweet nurturing pokemon but my trainers would be excited by oviposition. Armed with an eviolite to take any hit other pokemon threw at her, chansey would insert eggs into whatever hole she could find until the enemy pokemons bodies were full of ho and nutritious eggs.
Miltank is a known force feeder that would pair up with chansey in double battles and tag team matches alike filling her opponents with sweet milk until they could no longer walk. When training on the wild pokemon in the area, reports would come in that the pokemon in the grass were steadily gaining weight and getting fatter...
Ditto was the final and most feared pokemon of all, with a name none dared to utter. At level 100, it was a breeding expert. Wild pokemon would be locked away in a day care center for years at a time forced to constantly push out eggs until their wombs were nothing but a gaping slip and slide.

It helps that most of my favorite steel mons have megas. I'd probably need them if the legends are actually as strong as they're made out to be instead of the jokes they are in games.

I'd also probably have a Skarmory on me at all times for flight if that ever became a necessity, but it'd be more of an auxiliary thing. Wouldn't really use it for battling, but i'd train the fuck out of its' speed so we could MOVE when necessary.

I'd just travel and battle. It seems possible to make a career out of it. Along the way i'd make sure to capture ALL pokemon (as I understand it we just can't use any other than our one type) and release them once their info has been entered in the Dex.

I'd make sure my Pokemon are in tip-top shape for whatever may happen. When there's one of those global crises that seem so common in the Pokemon world you can bet your ass i'll be speeding my way there to help out.

Now, while i'd be going for champion of regions and stuff, I WOULD NOT take the position of Gym Leader or E4 or anything like that. Getting locked into one area to deal with anybody who wants to challenge you sounds awful. I'd probably just make my way to the champion, beat them, but not take up the position as the new champion. I don't think they can force you to take it, right?

Waifu: Depends on who I meet. They'd have to be down to travel, so that already eliminates tons of people.

My main pokemon are Pangoro, Hydreigon and Mega-Sableye.

My second line pokemon would be Houndoom, Shiftry and Sharpedo.

First pokemon was Pancham.

My Region would be Hoenn, and I'd do the challenge, beat the league and then decline to be a gym leader, instead roaming through the pokemon world- doing stuff. I love mythology and anthropology, so I'd go into a science field, as a hobby, at first, but then I'd become obsessed with it.

I'd have a house in Fortree that I would spend time in between month long trips around the continent (maybe even to other regions), hunting ancient ruins.

Eventually I'd become an authority on the subject, flying pokemon hunting me down to deliver mail from all kinds of people asking me questions. Most I ignore, becoming more and more of a recluse as I get closer and closer to ... something.

Eventually, at 65, I vanish completely, disappearing into a shroud of mystery and speculation.

My waifu would be a pokemon ranger, who accompanies me from just after I defeat the pokemon league to just before I disappear.

I was thinking Fairy because of how they're based on fairytales and folklore and the fantasy genre. Psychic because they seem pretty interested in acquiring knowledge and like to meditate. Both types I guess would enjoy the quietness of the library.

I know for sure I'd love to work in Nacrene's Museum + Library. I'd be a library technician and help trainers and researchers find the books and information they need. Shelving books, cataloging new materials, and reading of course. On my off days I would hang out around the museum or explore some of the artsy shops and area around Nacrene or chill at the Cafe. The forest is pretty close as well.

Sinnoh is the comfiest region by far and I'd hail from Celestic Town. My first pokemon would be Dratini, which I would train and grind for a long time in my hometown until I at last set ut on an adventure. My adventure would mainly be exploring the world and learn about history/ mythology while getting stronger doing so. Probably try beating all of the gyms and maybe the Champion if I'd feel like it. My waifu would naturally be Cynthia. Maybe I'll go full Red and just train at Stark Mountain for a while.
