If going by most underratrd of all time, it's a tie between contests and megas.
If you only count surviving features I would say shinies. Useless palette swaps that look worse than the originals

Never enjoyed them, I don't see how they ruined the gen 3 contests. Fucking everything just gave you negitive hearts or used roar. Whoever had the most poke blocks won pretty much

It is kinda overrated, you're just battling 3 trainers with special sprites and monotype teams over and over again. Way easier than the tower or any of its clones. I still like it but it is just an easier battle tower when you think about it.
