360 + 180 = 540, which is perfectly above-average as far as base stat totals go, the same as Milotic and Gyarados and many others.
Its evolution comes about by having Spinda "do a 180" in some way, perhaps by making it SUPER FUCKING DIZZY, and having it battle facing backward.

Either way, 540 / 6 = 90. So base 90 in all stats would make it a slightly shittier base 100 legendary, which let's be honest is the most we can really hope for.

Is this good enough for you? Would you be happy? I'd be happy.

At lower point totals, stat distribution matters a whole lot more and strange distributions that are usually useless become a lot more viable. GF has tried to do this, but with move BPs, bringing most normal moves closer together and making the gap between utility attacks and high damage moves something like 75-110. So, they clearly understand that pokemon need to be brought closer together.

Hell, if you want your high numbers so much, we can go for 550-700 or even 3,500-5,000. It doesn't really matter as long as the formulas for other shit are adjusted accordingly.

It is goddamn amazing. Hard counters Ludicolo and Kingdra in particular, who are considered staples in Rain teams. Hydro Pump vs Surf = Power vs Accuracy argument, although in doubles you must consider hitting your teammate with Surf too.

Sheer Cold. It can upset games. Literally the comeback button. Press it if you have no chance of winning other than landing a Sheer Cold. 30% of winning vs 0% of winning is huge. Stole it from nuggetbridge from some crazy nigga who knows what he's doing.


Unfortunately, Rain teams are more on the uncommon side now and the best teams in VGC are good stuffs that can function in Trick Room and Tailwind with speed control.

No. The usefulness of stat distributions don't rely only on the total stats. If lesbian had +50 in HP and special defense it'd still be shit, because a specially defensive wall pokemon with no recovery is dogshit regardless of how you look at it.

By simple logic, if not every pokemon has the exact stat distribution, ones are bound to be the best. Some beat others, and since it isn't perfect rock-paper-scizors balancing, some will be beat by too many, and others will beat too many.

Pokémon like sableye, mawile and breloom are fucking amazing even with shit bst. BST is not the only thing that matters, it matters pretty little actually. A good mon just needs a decent type combo, and a good ability.

My main issue with a lot of Gen IV evolutions is how much of a pain in the ass it is to actually evolve them, and how many of them apply to Pokemon that are still so rare that you'll almost never use them unless you go out of your way to do it. A Bug-type Body Slam is still going to be resisted by rock and Steel, as well as ghost but now it's hitting Grass, Psychic, and Dark for SE (and plus STAB) while being unique in that it's as strong as X-Scissor but instead of critting, trades the damage for a free Paralysis chance. Most bugs arent going to be fighting Electrics either, and Body Slam is currently one of the only ways to paralyze a Ground-type, so a clone of it could be pretty helpful

I can see why OHKO moves are banned in the standard meta. It is rng to its purest degree, but use whatever you can to win in vgc. It is a cheap tactic and looked down upon, but if it increases your chance to win then use it.

Of course if you rely on Sheer Cold spam you're going to lose in most cases. You use it in the situations where you can only win by landing a OHKO on something that is otherwise gg ez.

If you want to abuse Sheer Cold then use Sheer Cats strategy. 3 Cat Pokemon: Liepard, Meowstic (male), and Purrloin with Eviliote with only 1 move: Assist. Then 1 Pokemon with Sheer Cold. Usually the bulkiest available Pokemon in the meta you're playing in. Ubers = Kyogre. OU = Lapras or something else bulky with Sheer Cold.

Just use Assist for Priority Sheer Cold until you win/lose. Games will last between 2 turns to 4 turns (because all your cats got OHKO'd in return because they are all so frail).

Being a fast Pokemon makes you shit in GO. Because speed is tied instead to moves, meaning any slow ass Pokemon that was balanced in games with good bulk, instead has great speed and hitting power in Go. Whilst very frail Pokemon like Jolteon, that were meant to be able to come in, outspeed and kill, instead had to slug it out with a 'quick' move that is actually one of the slowest in game, getting pelted by some bulky fuck hitting it 2x faster.

Exeggutor, Clefable, Lapras, Vaporeon, etc. Bulky Pokemon OP in Go.
