I have some questions about the bubblestrat. I can't find many cp10 guys since I'm level 26, but I have a few weedles and pidgeys and a cp10 magikarp with struggle and splash. It says splash does 0 damage yet it still takes down 1/5 of my other cp10 Pokemon's health per battle, so when I out it in a gym I'm still using potions. I thought you weren't supposed to get hurt at all with this method? I can deal eith only getting 500 per battle instead of 1k. But I wish it didn't require any potions.

Also, how much is the gym going down when someone kills my magikarp? I'm assuming not much, since probably nobody is fighting it with a cp10 guy and my Karp has stayed in for almost an entire day. So wouldn't the most efficient gym essentially be a lvl 10 with nothing but cp10 guys? Unless you get some huge bonus for rolling over every guy in a gym.

Might be working, however what you posted looks like source files, meaning you'd have to compile the bot yourself. You could try to find an already compiled release of that bot.

In your case it would take a while. However with an already compiled bot it would take about 10 minutes at most including creating a PTC account.

Therefore I recommend you search for a Pokemobbot release. That one is guaranteed to work and with the default settings it should reach level 20 within 24 hours, which should be enough for you to kick out your mon.

As you're only in a need of a temporary account and don't care about it getting banned after use, it should be what you're looking for.

It has that moveset because it was a new dex entry and done by evolution rather than hatching or catching in the wild. Compare your Machamp to this one I caught in the wild.

I'm working on trying to prove that the RNG in the game is skewed in some way. Currently trying to find out what kind of RNG they use to determine movesets in particular.

Like you I evolved a Geodude all the way to Golem and got the worst possible moveset. Take a look at Golem's moveset; it's very, very hard to get a bad moveset with the pool of moves you can roll.

And yet it happens, almost every single time. And always 1. When it's a new dex entry and 2. When you acquire the new dex entry by evolution.

Yes, this theory is certainly bullshit.

The first Arcanine I evolved had fire fang and fire blast. The first Vaporeon I evolved had water gun and hydro pump. The first Slowbro I evolved had water gun and psychic. First Vileplume I evolved had razor leaf and solar beam. etc. etc.

I've had loads of shit luck with my first evolutions, but it certainly doesn't seem as though it's impossible to get decent/perfect movesets on the first evolution/new dex entry.

To draw an analogy with poker, the Ace is the most valuable card in the deck and the 2 is the least valuable. But value doesn't affect what you receive. You have just as much a chance of getting one of the four Aces as you do of getting one of the four 2s.

Now if I can find that I'm getting poor movesets under these conditions so often that it becomes a statistical anomaly, something might be wrong. And you do this by seeing how many standard deviations away from the mean you get so that it can be realistically explained as variance with confidence.

Eeveelutions should be discounted as RNG plays a smaller factor in their limited movesets. Just wanna do a few more to substantiate my point.

I mean it makes no sense to include Eeveelutions, they only have one primary attack each so it's impossible to get something like a Tackle/Aqua Tail Vaporeon.

Like I said, my Nidoqueen had the ideal Poison Jab/Earthquake on the first evolution attempt; what about the other 12 fully evolved pokemon that have 1st or 2nd worst movesets? That's not random. That's saying the pocket Aces you picked up one hand negates the 30 hands prior that were garbage. It should be just as easy to get an ideal moveset as a worst possible moveset, and yet the ratio is like 8:1 in favor of the latter. We know there are rarity tiers even in egg groups I don't know why it's so offensive to everyone to hear that movesets might also be skewed in favor of poorer moves.

For the past several days, I can't seem to get a decent Eevee to evolve. Normally I would evolve as soon as possible, but now I'm sitting on just over 100 candies.

Blissey will be good, Kingdra with Dragon Breath/Hydro Pump will be a top 10 offensive pokemon, Scizor is weird because it doesn't actually get a BST increase upon evolution like other pokemon, it just gets a stat rearrangement. Tyranitar is too bulky to really get hit hard by the Alakazam treatment. Zam gets fucked over because its speed stat is useless, it doesn't hit as hard as it rightfully should because of the way they take both offensive stats into consideration, and it has the defenses of a wet noodle.

Tyranitar is slow so its stats go into much more useful areas and it has pseudo tier BST. It will be good. Bite/Stone Edge up in this shit.

How would you figure it out without an adequate sample size? A single account isn't good enough. It would need to be a concerted effort to crunch data.

Another argument I keep seeing is "But I evolved x with y moveset on my first try!" If it had a 100% success rate it would be easy to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt. It's obviously a very small skew if there even is one.
