It's hard to say. The description of Fomantis says they're nocturnal and travel at night to find a good spot photosynthesize during the day, which suggests Moon, but that they'll attack anyone who interrupts their photosynthesis, would could mean Sun. It probably won't be version exclusive at all.

I won't pick until I know the version differences and exclusive pokemon. I'm leaning towards moon though because I prefer lunaala.

No. Both physical and digital have their advantages and disadvantages, and both are reasonable purchases. I'm going to try to buy a physical copy, but if for some reason I don't end up doing so, I'd be perfectly happy downloading it instead.

Both, but if I had to pick, it'd be moon in a heartbeat. Lunaala had me sold on it the second she was anounced, and the new aditions like UB02 waifu mode and permanent comphy mode definetely make it better.

Also, I remember seeing a couple of threads mentioning lurantis was moon exclusive.
