Being the 4th generation of the Pokemon video game series.

There are no flaws significant enough to stop it being the best Pokemon game released to date.

Has a few minor niggles. Text speed is a bit slow, even on the fastest setting. A fair chunk of the new Pokemon are just Babbies or New Evos for old mon.

What's stopping you from buying the actual cartridge and playing it that way on your 3DS?

Too many HMs and too much dependance on them to do anything.

While it does have too many baby pokemon/evolutions for pre-gens, the few stand alone pokemon it has have some of the best designs in the series so that doesn't bother me too much.

The post-game is great and is what makes it my favorite game.
