Serianon here.
I've been drawing since I was really young, actually. I can't remember what got me into it, but I'm surrounded by artists nowadays and I pick up little tips and bits as I go.
Most of my improvements are from asking, "What do you think I can do to get better?"
Most of the time people shrugged, but that's okay-- the people that did give me suggestions have actually put me where I am today.
I don't have any formal training, either.

Nope. She might not look like it, but she's in her twenties. Somewhere in the 23-24 range. She's just freckly, short, and has a teeth gap. Reason for the last one is she never really bothered to have her teeth aligned. It's still pretty cute though, isn't it?

So, for an electricity-themed trainer, distinct enough from an Electric trainer, I'd think most Electric types would fit the bill. Someone else mentioned Elekid, which is a great fit. I think Joltik and Mareep in particular have static electricity things going on, so that might be good.

Actually, in the same vein as that, some hairy Normal types that can learn a few electric moves could be good. Lillipup, Skitty, and Sentret can all learn Thunderbolt, for example. Aside from that, the Porygon line could sort of work. That's more cybernetic than inherently technological. Rotom might be better for that, in truth.

I'd look at Ground and Psychic types next. In particular, I think Rhyhorn and Cubone are decent, in that both have access to the Lightningrod ability, which is. Something. Maybe. For psychics, who fuck with energy pretty casually, you can take your pick.To my knowledge, there are no psychic types with a thematic or biological relationship to electricity, so it's really just what you like best. Elgyem, maybe? Whatever.

You've already got Klink, so Magnemite seems redundant. So does Probopass. Though Nosepass isn't the worst fit. The Roggenrola line has something about storing energy in its crystals, but I don't think it gets any electric attacks in and of itself.

That's about all I can think of. A Normal, Psychic, and Ground type of some variety would add type variety while still maintaining some sense of theme. And electric types just plain work.

I really like Joltik in general, and Seri would be fond of it's small size. Not only that, but she's living in Unova, which allows accessibility. ("Oh my gosh, you're coming home with me!")

I adore Rotom as well, and since Seri is actually developing a specialty kind of paper-thin PCB board it fits the bill just fine.

Honestly, a minimalist team would work really well for Seri. Keeping the number low whilst actually giving her fitting Pokemon. So far, we've got Elekid (which is probably the only non-miniature Pokemon Seri could fit in the lab), Klink, Rotom, and Joltik.

Especially since Seri cleared out a wall indent and installed two mattresses, side by side, in it. There's still a lot of room on that bed, since the girl herself is so small.

Yeah, that works. If the name of the game is "converting energy into electricity," the Helioptile line, which as far as I'm aware turns solar power into zaps, works fine. If there are any grass type Pokemon that can learn a multitude of electric moves, that's good too.

Oh, Volbeat and/or Illumise, actually. Learns some electric moves, based off lightning bugs, Tail Glow as a sort of power source. I kind of like that as a weird, less-than-obvious choice.

Everybody likes Joltik. It's the cutest. I like the applications of Electroweb wires, too.I wouldn't get too hung up on in-game locations, though. Personally.

Elekid is pretty small, to my knowledge. Not, you know, Joltik small. But it's a babymon, so maybe like a foot and a half.

Also if there's heavy equipment that needs moving, maybe some sort of Fighting type. Timburr or something. Something that can learn Thunder Punch, and that you can have turn a crank to power a dynamo. Old school electricity generation. For reasons I can't quite think of right now.

Something I wanna say to everyone involved in the RP group, I'm gonna be hosting a Quest next weekend for newbie characters who haven't gotten around to RP yet, to give them a head start on some leveling, capturing, and getting to know the others.

The rewards for completion, among with whatever levels you gain and Pokémon you catch, will be 5 Rare Candies, any evolutionary item of your choosing, and a Starter of your choice, courtesy of the region's professor who is supposedly the client as shown on the bulletin. I'll complete the quest description and draw out the map within the next couple days.
