Just bought this for $50, do you think it's a fake?
Only one way to find out.
Nope. It's 100% legit. Great find, pal
100% legit
i think ur a fake
> The label just says "game"
Completely legit pal,what a lucky find :)
>>28437140
I'd certainly be suspicious that the top of the cartridge says "Game," where it should say "Nintendo Game Boy."
>>28437140
>cartridge made out of blue bic pen plastic
yep great find
Blatantly fake, but for twelve bucks if it works I wouldn't complain.
>>28437221
Not even mentioning the cartridge is not in the gameboy color shape
>$50
Nah, looks like a real image for sure. Definitely not worth $50 for a jpg though
>Game
>wrong shade of blue
>no sparkles in the plastic
>concave instead of convex
>>28437261
>twelve bucks
>OP: "Just bought this for $50"
>>28437140
why would you buy a picture?
>>28437140
>DMG-APSE-USA
YA FUCKED UP OP, WINDOWS CAN'T OPEN .DMG FILES. HOPE YOU HAVE A MACINTOSH FAGGOT
I sincerely hope you didn't actually buy that because that is an atrocious fake.
>>28437221
And it misses the Nintendo seal.
>>28437343
I only read the filename
If it's $50 that's a pure rip
>>28437485
That's a standard eBay filename you colossal retard.

>>28437140
>Normal GB cartridge
Never seen a version of Crystal that didn't have a GB Color cartridge. But I could be wrong.
>>28437309
Crystal is still and will always be my favorite looking game cartridge. Unff.
>>28437140
That's fake us dip.
>>28438168
>us dip

>>28438206
>us dip

>>28438296
>mobileposting
You deserve to look like an idiot.
>>28438296
When did "dip" become an insult again? Until recently, I hadn't heard it used since I was in like middle schoolalmost 20 years ago.
>>28438329
ya dip
>>28438401
There was an autismo video of a guy saying "Its a meme you dip"
So it kinda took off from there
>>28438446
Ahh. Thanks, that explains it... sort of.
I'm pretty sure OP's copy of the game is fake.
I would like to take advantege of this thread to make a personal question, I have european spanish copie of this game but the label is damaged, it is still possible to tell that the game is original?
>>28439351
Yes, but at this point the market is so jaded and honestly half the people buying have no idea fake versions even exist, driving down prices.
And with the ton of perfect ones on ebay, people will pay significantly less for a damaged albeit legit version.
Just bought this for $500, do you think it's a fake?
mine doesn't look like that
>>28439908
Looks fake to me. But i'd need to see it from a few different angles to be certain.
>>28440020
just taking the piss mate. i know it's real, lol.
but if you're genuinely curious, took some extra snaps for ya.
tell me if you think it's worth the price. crystal is pretty hard to find sealed so i'd say worth.
>>28440388
Yeah that looks legit. Sometimes the angles and the light throw the colors off and it looks like it was a copy/reprint.
Is it worth $500? I'm sure someone would pay that much later on down the line, but not to me.
I remember I picked up a sealed box of pokemon yellows on ebay about 7 years ago for roughly $15 a pop.
Sold them for $40 each and honestly I regret that I didnt keep a few around.
The most i've paid for a sealed crystal was $50 about a year ago. Some guy had no idea what it was worth and I sent him a best offer.
Protip though, get at the very least one of those clear plastic boxes for your games. Keeps them from getting dust or tears.
Though harder cases are reccomended if you can afford it.
does the game play okay? if so then who gives a shit
