Post a picture and/or describe a fossil mon you'd like to see Pokemon Sun and Moon. Include details such as history, what its past typings were, which version, and such. Mine is pic related take from Smiley-Fakemon on DeviantArt.
Mine is originally a Water/Dark type who went extinct due a drastic change in water temperature. It becomes a Dark/Rock a dis in Pokemon Moon.
More water/rock pokemon
Maybe a long neck dinosaur (and it could be related to lapras, as an ancestor) and a fish like pokemon.

Shut up. That's too cool. They'll fuck em up, like they always do.

Doubt we're getting any new fossils.
IRL Hawaii is too young to have any fossils.

>not wanting a dodo pokemon that evolve into an aepyornis
I want a caveman fossil mon, imagine a humanoid with a head that looks like a Tangela but with hair instead of vines
the evo should be a bigger version with a club
not sure about the typing, maybe Rock/Ground

I wpuld like a Hallucigenia based fossil mon, Rock/Psychic and it has a special split evolution. If you hold your 3DS normally, it evolves in a bigger, more armored version and can learn lots of Poison moves. If you hold your 3DS upside down, it evolves with straight, pike like legs and tentacles on its back.

OH MY FUCK, NO
Is this Bloodborne?

>Hallucigenia

Whatever they do I wish they'd do a "third" non-evolving fossil (Like Aerodactyl) again, maybe a megalodon or something
>>28435444
I want a Rock/Dark Utah Raptor
I want a Rock/Fairy Maiasaura

it's a reconstruction based on an incredibly incomplete fossil

The early days of our planet had some weird fauna.

Yeah, the Hawaiian islands are pretty young.
But do you know what else took place on a series of islands?

Huh. We've never gotten a raptor, have we? Then again, only got a T-Rex last year.
>>28436812
Last year? Last gen, fuck me.
Bro, is that a damn Dunkleosteus? I'd be down. I think I'd want a Quetzacoatlus or something like Postosuchus.
>>28436655
Ive been wanting that raptor for years, also hoping for a smilodon.

Rewriting this post to get rid of the shit typings. Really annoys me that GF insists on making all fossil Pokemon Rock type.
>Dark/Rock Velociraptor
>Evolves into Dark/Ghost Utah Raptor
>Ability grants it a speed boost whenever an opponent switches out (but not when it faints)
>Fairy/Rock Maiasaur hatchling in its egg
>Evolves into Fairy youngling, which then evolves into Fairy/Dragon Maiasaur
>Ability 1 increases the magnitude of any healing moves used on allied Pokemon
>Ability 2 is Sheer Force, so you have options
>Fire/Rock Sauropod hatchling, only knows non-damaging moves until level 45
>which is when it evolves into Fire/Dragon Dreadnoughtus with literally zero Speed or SpA but a billion HP and Attack and an Ability that gives all contact moves a chance to Paralyze the target (stacks with any preexisting chance inherent to the move like in Body Slam)
As a dinosaur autist, I would never have to visit youporn again if GF did this.

Raikou is pretty cool but I agree they need a non-Legendary one. Would love for Litten 3 to be based on one.

And since when does real life affect the fossil pokémon we gen? You know that tyrannosaurus fossils aren't found in France, right?
water/rock ambulocetus that evolves into a basilosaurus
fighting/rock austrolopithecus holding a stick or bone that evolves into a caveman holding a club
>hawaii are too young to have fossils
where did these scientists come from?
This
>>28435817
Yeah, and there were totally Tyrannosaurus Rexes in France.
Rock/Electric raptor with focus on Attack & Speed
Rock/Poison stegosaurus or dilophosaurus
Plz. Just give us unique type combos.

>incredibly incomplete fossil
Kek.
>>28435444
That fish is incredibly adorable
>>28436246
holy shit this needs to happen
>>28438454
>fossil-mons not rock type
2/10 anon pls try harder
>>28440667
>They're resurrected from fossils, it only makes sense that they're Rock type!
>caring about what "makes sense" in a fantasy world over making the fossil pokemon actually good
>resurrecting organisms from fossils makes sense in the first place
take a bleach bath please

Cool, a carnivore long lapras water rock orice rock
