5-Virizion

Honorable mentions to zoroark, sawsbuck and escavalier, gen v had loads of bad pokemon, but it also had loads of amazing designs

There's a lot of other gen 5 pokemom that I specially like, like Scolipede, Volcarona, Krookodile, Zoroark, Escavalier, alot of interesting mons.

Gen 5 had a shit ton of designs that I like, since it's my favorite. So I'm not gonna bother with honorable mentions since it would take a while.

Pic related is my fave though, since I have a hard on for Flying types.

Krookodile is the only half-decent looking fully evolved Pokemon in Gen V.

Heatmor. I like it's design and concept. Anteater pokemon that burns the shit out of iron armored ants and eat them. Too bad it's weak and competitively horrible.

Archen, I really like Archeops but I prefer Archen especially since gen 6 ruined Archeops with that awful derp model.

I also like the Golurk, Galvantula, Eelektross, Leavanny and Haxorus lines in particular, though honestly there aren't many gen 5 lines I don't like to some degree.

I named mine Cody after the Streets of Rage/Street Fighter character. He wiped the floor with three out of the elite four ten levels underleveled.

lampent, leavanny, dewott, lilligant, serprior, scrafty, zorua. I like this gen a lot actually and I can't pick a single favorite.

I've always liked Druddigon but never see him get a lot of love. Probably because he's a generic looking dragon with no evolution so I can see why he'd be pretty forgettable if you don't use him. He's also kind of outclassed by other dragons in the meta too. Still, it's one of my favorites.

Other than that: Scolipede, Sawsbuck, Volcarona, and a lot of others. Gev V might be my favorite if I base it on number of designs I like vs what I don't.

First I wasn't really convinced because of design. You know, literally my mother's megazord. Then I actually got to use it, read a bit about lore, realized it's a motherfucking Iron Giant, only not made of iron and now I love it.

Using rocket thrusters to fly is a bonus.

Either krookodile, hydreigon, or archeops for my favorite. there are just so many great gen 5 designs though

How is chandelure a example of bad execution? Also with golurk I don't really see how its different from say the magnenite line. Obviously not all of gen 5 is spectacular, worst starters by a mile for example. Still I see peopleshit on gen 5 a lot and say it doesn't even feel like pokemon, sounds bizarre to me.
