Not feeling it, ESPECIALLY not the Honedge bit. Honedge steals the soul of whoever wields it, remember. And you don't need six Wishiwashi to activate Schooling, y'know? Maybe, as an alternative, if you enter a battle royale with a hand, foot, helmet, and chestplate - or subsituting any of those for the evolved one - the victor's (or everyone's) pokémon evolves? And maybe the evolved form could look more interesting with only one gauntlet and the opposite boot? That's what I'd try.

I think you should emphasize the "sheet" aspect of these. Give it some patches, holes, loose threads, something like that. And if you want to make it really scary, make it so that it's hard to tell what the shape of the "thing underneath" is - make it look inconsistent and uncanny.
