Hilda/Rosa were confirmed 14 (Hilda being more debatable, supposedly she was originally pitched as 16, and the Manga rolled with that.)

Serena is confirmed 16 at least. Some people believe she could be 17, but there's no HARD proof of that.

OR/AS confirmed May to be 12, and it looks like Chicken is going to be about that age too. The likely reason is actually pretty obvious. They needed to de-age the characters again so that the protagonists still look cute and appealing to kids, now that the "chibi overworld" is gone.

Anyways, do this long enough, and you can invite them on dates on the Ferris Wheel, and eventually, they'll start to trade you rare Pokémon. For a long while, this was the only way to get Spiritomb, outside of that ridiculous Underground task in Platinum.

X/Y and OR/AS have romance subplots too, but they're extremely dumbed down. X/Y has Shauna get close to you during the fireworks scene, and she later trades you the baby of her Starter. OR/AS has May/Brendan seemingly on a date during the credits sequence.

X/Y felt like it could have had the darkest plot yet. Team Flare were basically Nazi's.

But Game Freak realized the themes of the game (Life/Death, exterminating the unpure, ect) were too dark, so they pasted an overly friendly paintjob over it all, which spoiled it. Team Flare, despite having the darkest motivations, are the goofiest and least threatening team yet.

Such a shame, coming off of Rocket/Plasma in HG/SS and Gen 5. Those games actually had points where the villain teams felt threatening. Cyrus in Galactic was also really good.

As for the Hoenn games, I never really liked Magma/Aqua. Magma never felt like legitimate villains at all. Hell, in AlphaSapphire, there's not even the slightest hint of them doing anything wrong. Aqua were dastardly pirates, which was something, but Magma always seemed to just be chill scientists that always had the worlds environment in mind. Granted OmegaRuby does more to villainize them, but still.

But now we have Skull, and Aether. Definitely far more interesting than Aqua/Magma/Flare. If they are executed well, they could be the most interesting "Teams" yet.

See, I fell out of Pokemon when I was in middle school, so I completely skipped 3rd and 4th gen, and got back into it when I saw my friends playing B/W. I really need to go back through R/S/E and DPPt, but one thing or another holds me back.

But, besides that, I have read up on the teams from those games and, yeah, I'd say Galactic/Cyrus has been the most "evil" villain we've had yet, and probably the most threatening from the sound of it.

However, if you was to put an anime character between a Jap girl and a European girl, almost all of the time, you will be able to compare better with the Euro girl. Nose shape, brighter hair, wider, non-slanted eyes (yes, I know, IRL girls don't have HUGE eyes, but the non-slanted shape is comparable)

Sometimes, anime styles DO slant the eyes, which makes them more specifically Asian. But a lot of the time, they don't.
