I've made some revisions to my fibonnachi technique, boys. Close and distant pokemon could be reliably hit, but it was much harder to get greats and excellents because the ball would curve too much / not enough to hit them dead on- but I figured it out now:

the tl;dr is for far away pokemon, distend the spiral and make sure you're on the very far edge of your screen when your release

for very close pokemon (pidgies, rattata, etc.) you need to begin the spiral right of center (for clockwise throws) or left of center (anticlockwise :^) ), draw only a VERY small spiral, and release near the center of the screen.

I'll draw up some diagrams so we can make a master sheet after this run/jog and pokehunt.

It's not really a 15 minute break, you can't be driving around at all times for a 7 hour shift, it's just a waste of gas. So you do a half hour tour, park up at the hotspot corner for 15 minutes where people tend to park illegally and smoke weed, then do another half hour tour, etc. Because I patrol in a vehicle it would be totally extraneous to be driving around at all times.

This explain why I don't have a Lapras, Snorlax or any useful pokemon. Only hatched 62 eggs. In my defense my GPS is shit and often gives me the "too fast" message even when I'm sitting down waiting for a bus or in the toilet. Niantic has said scanners are against the spirit of the game but the main concerns they've had are with the ones that scrape data from your game because "muh servers".

I've used every scanner i could get my hands on (that doesn't require login) for weeks from home in incognito, and a few days ago tried on my phone so I could try the "scan my location" function and I haven't been banned at all that I know of.

From what I hear it would be against the rules for them to check your phone remotely for evidence of cheating, so as long as your account isn't linked to the scanner you should be fine.

I have a question as well; sometimes my phone's gps craps out and leaves my avatar behind somewhere, sometimes next to a pokestop enabling me to spin it after I've left the area. Does this count as spoofing? Should I go scouts honor and not do that shit, or is it okay because it's a game flaw?

I have around 100+ candies for Psyducks and Poliwags. Do I just grind them for the XP points or is it worth saving up for some future stuff?

I have been using multiple devices (phone + ipad) to get more evolves out of my lucky eggs. Its easy to get over 100k XP this way. I hope I don't get banned for doing this in the future.

I'm running out of potions and revives to keep taking down Valor scum gyms. Valor dominates my area and all the faggots on the baby team put their high level Dragonites to defend. Lvl 22 now and rarely bother with gyms. Starting to get mons that can battle and compete now but still a lot of work to take down a gym for very little reward. Rather walk around catching pokemon than spend more than 10 minutes for 10 poke coins. My time is worth more than the few pennies worth of coins. Also the gyms here are all held by my team instinct anyway.

My Victreebel and Vileplum with solar beams does the job. Granted it's basically 2 vs 1 but it's so satisfying to see its health decrease by a huge margin.

I think it's due to bubble's low speed, as opposed to splash, so you can kill it even before it lands a single hit and take no damage in doing so.

It has the best strength/availability ratio in most places.

why subtract from perfect? makes more sense just to use standard hex where 0 = 0, 1 = 1... A = 10, etc. Might help to preface it with the letter r for rating, so you don't get confused and think you were just out of clever names.

Assuming the optimal Gym defense set of Zen Headbutt/Hyper Beam, the best pokemon in the top 10 to use is a Psychic move/Solarbeam Exeggutor. Take the resisted Zens from the Snorlax and do your best to dodge its Hyper Beam.

Thats nothing. There are two level 10 mystic gyms in chicago by the river in river west.

Each with 6+ dragonites a couple lapras and snorlax maybe a vape or two. Used Nox about two months ago, just once, right before their banwave and their public message saying "If people continue cheating, they will get banned.". I'm still not banned, and I'm pretty sure I will never get banned unless I do it again.

My whole town has been taken over by a group of cheaters (all of their names start with oVRVo). They literally own every gym now, the last one being the gym most nearby my house. I have a dilemma. I'm at 125 dratini candies (they're somewhat common by me, this will be my 3rd Dragonite by evolution) and I have two candidates to evolve. One is CP ~700 and has 90% IVs, the other is CP ~60 and has 100% IVs. Is it worth all the extra costs of leveling up the lower one just to have a perfect IV Dragonite?

Anyway based on the few test accounts from the time I can confirm accounts that botted pre-announcement and stopped before are safe, but will get banned if you try it again. Accounts that were used with emulators are not safe, regardless of when they stopped, got some interesting results with those though. I don't have any accounts that spoofed from a phone from that time, but my guess is such accounts have survived, like bots.

We know a great deal about capturing, as it is.

When a Pokemon you've already owned appears on the overworld, it notifies you. You can chose to engage, throw a ball, and are notified with haptic feedback if successful. It can be inferred the device negates 'misses' while also negating positive bonuses, like the curveball or 'great'.

The thing we know for sure is how Stops function. It 'pins' a nearby stop, meaning you can effectively claim two stops in the same time as before. It also means you can claim a stop while your game remains on the evolving, catching or hatching screens.

I found a 900+ Dragonite at 26 I think, and held off powering it up for a while. Once I reached 28 I said fuck it, brought it up to 2k, and while hunting for candy to further enhance it, found a 1100 Dragonair with slightly better IVs...
Upon evolving it, it ended up with 50 cp more than the one I powered up so I felt a bit sad on the inside.
Thankfully, I now have two top Dragonite because both have the optimal movesets, but the point still stands that if you waste dust early, you might regret it later.
