Eventually after a few playthroughs it was hard to pick between Emboar and Samurott.

Serperior has a goat design but damn it's horrible in-game.

Gen 5 starters have grown so much on me I think they are my favorite.

Sounds like a good inspiration source on why they'd make a mushroom a Fighting type, but instead they made Breloom a boxing kangaroo dinosaur. It explains why they would give it Cut and False Swipe though.
