Hard to say which is the definitive "best".

Of the realistic possibilities, both Dark and Fighting are solid, given that it'll likely be on the faster, sweepier side of things. They basically both trade a lot of weaknesses for a lot of resists+great offensive typing. We see success with Tyranitar's typing because while it has a lot of weaknesses, the switch in opportunities are equally plentiful. Also only shitters think 4x weaknesses are instantly damning.

Rock/Grass is seemingly pretty unlikely, but its a really surprisingly solid type.

Rock/Fighting for offense since you get the highest coverage, but it highly depends on the moveset (but good Fighting STABs are usually easy to obtain).
