> Reverse Scale
what is that?
>>28383006
Something from Chinese dragon mythology
They have one scale, the "reverse scale", that grows in a different direction than the rest
If that scale is touched, then the dragon will get angry and go on a rampage
>>28383006
dunno where its from but Japan seems to have a trope with dragons of there being a single backwards scale somewhere on their body that is their weak point and they dont like it being touched

So... Smaug?

Moltres reference?

There's a scale on dragon bodies, typically under the chin, that when stroked, causes normally peaceful dragons to fly into a blind rage. Maybe we'll get a new ability?

Gamefaqs is a gift.
Wow. Its been ages since we've gotten actual new dex entries for old pokemon.
On top of that, these ones are great. I absolutely LOVE ones that explore the ecology of the pokemon in question. Magikarp are bountiful due to their high fertility, and are a staple nutrition source in the food chain? Spearow are used to help keep crops clean due to their more grounded nature? Golbat are preyed upon regularly? All fucking great.
This was a treat. Thanks OP.
>Gyarados
Sun: It is said that a certain village enraged a Gyarados and was burned to nothing within a night.
Moon: There are people that believe that any place in which a Gyarados appears is fated to be destroyed.

PRIMAL FEAROW CONFIRMED
>>28385458
This one's interesting to me.
It's hard to say what it means. Does it mean that Fearow is an ancient pokemon, that's existed since human beginnings? Or does it reference how similar Ho-Oh/Moltres look to Fearow?
