You need a fully hacked 3ds to get access to DS savegame stuff (as it gets handeled by the arm9 kernel, the same that does all the secruity stuff).

There's ways to get older gen pkm saves, but you need pokemon dream radar or poke transporter for that

That's a NTR bug. Whenever you touch an applet (these multitasking apps), NTR dies or becomes unbootable, because the homemenu hash changes. I recommend you installing 3DS Quick Reboot and having its icon next to NTR for convenience.

I need some help (since I can't find an answer elsewhere): I cannot load my save in PKHeX. I dumped it using SDVT and JKSM. Both dumps of the "main" file appear to be identical but it cannot be opened.

I have an old decrypted save (XORed from Powersaves) and upon exporting that as a "main" and comparing the two in a hex editor, the new dumps from SDVT and JKSM seem to be missing 16 bytes of information, ending with 00075FD0 instead of 00075FE0. The information is also in the wrong position (pic related) though I gave up after spending ages trying to find where the discrepancy lies (I can try again if necessary but I didn't know if the effort would be worth it).

It's important to keep in mind that my old save was corrupted and I don't know what the actual problem was. SciresM himself fixed it for me but never explained exactly what the problem was. Plus, you know, it's older, so either way, it might not be the new save at fault.

I just get an unsupported file type/size error when trying to import my new save dumps, and it's frustrating. I've tried it on both Windows and Wine on Mac (with .NET 4.0 installed).

If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I won't suck your dick though because that's gay.
