I made these way back in like '07 or somewhere around then so if they suck that's why.

>day form is white and looks full of energy, night form is black and always looks like it's sleeping

>black one is ghost type, white one is psychic type

>Both have a 100% chance of holding Solar Ring and Lunar Ring; The rings have a 40% chance of causing confusion or sleep respectively when using a special type move

>need to have both forms in the party for it to evolve; when it evolves they both fuse together and you get one of the second stage

>its typing is a combo of the first stages, ghost/psychic

>the evolved form has an ability that has a 50% chance, when hit by a foe's attack, to cause sleep or confusion

That barely matters if the design is different.
For anyone designing a Fakemon that already has an existing counterpart, try maybe changing it to a different species or breed of that plant/animal. Or even a different age or type. Sometimes a unique shape and concept is all it needs.

I'm working on fakemon right now, I could use some help.
These are greed spirits. The first stage resembles a money bag, the second a treasure chest. They love eating valuables and gold, so they pretend to be those objects so that people would put their money inside them and they can eat it. The second stage is still a work in progress, I'm still not quite sure what to do with it. Help me make them not shit.

Thanks. I also think the gold pile fits best with the theme, so I'll go with that idea. I'm not completely satisfied with the design itself tho, so it needs some more work.
Also that ability is genius. I was thinking of maybe a signature attack that gets stronger depending on how much money you have or something.

Like others have said, really like the appeal of the first stage and how it's a bag of loot that still feels organic. The latter stage seems to deviate from being the container to being the content however, and I also dislike how static and immovable the chest is. Pic related would be my take on the concept, but keeping the theme and feeling of the first stage seems to be required unless you don't want to end up with "literally my mom's heirloom collection".

The smaller one is adorable and perfect

The second one is a bit too chunky, and could benefit from the rose on its ass facing outward instead of somehow facing up despite not having a stem or anything on the underside where the petals meet.

Also maybe replace the big one's claws with something as solid as the little one's, and just have vegetation growing off of them. Or have them sprout thorns and petal tassels, idk.

I also really like the spots on the small one. It really brings the color palette together with the rest of the design.

Give the big one a better palette and a second design pass, and these could be fantastic.
