Give him an evo/prevo.

Evolution is my favorite part of Mon games,
Single stage mons are poo tier to me.

Including legendaries.

Give him a 400 base stat total (up from 330) and remove the miss chance and heal chance from present. Now hes somewhat decent. Or hell go a different route and make him a good support by making the values of present swapped if used on an ally (small chance to deal damage, then incremental increases in heal potency)

Ability: Bad Santa

Present is modified to be Dark-type and can no longer heal, with a 40% chance to be 40BP, 40% chance to be 80BP, and 20% chance to be 120BP.

Also increases Present's damage by 50%.

Delibird has a niche! Christmas-themed giveaways. I just sent 60 of the fuckers named Santa holding a Master Ball out over Wonder Trade. Hopefully someone enjoyed it.

You can't buff him by buffing present alone because quite a few much better mons have present as an egg move (clefairy, jigglypuff, pikachu, marill, chansey and togepi lines for example).

Delibird can't be buffed without a BST boost or possibly a really good personal item, maybe a sack that doubles the damage of presents.

"Fixing" Delibird is no mean feat.

Fixing Ice Type in general should be priority. This would help Delibird the most!
Changing stats significantly is not an option I guess. And a possible Alola Form aside I only see 5 viable options:
- Mega Evolution, obviously. This would be the safest and easiest way to transform Delibird into a competitive beast

- Regular Evolution. lots of potential, but more limited than a Mega Evo.

- A new hidden ability that gives it a useful niche. "Dazzling"(negating priority moves) and "Prankster" are good examples of game changer abilities for weak mons. Give him "Snow Warning", and along with Focus Sash, Stealth Rocks, Spikes and Toxic Spikes he becomes a diverse Set Upper.
Or a new Ability called "Secret Santa" or something that let's Deli put out two or three hazards in one turn!

- Create a new item specifically catered to Delibird. Think something like "Eviolite" that fixes Deli's stats or weaknesses.

- Create a move that will make Delibird worth using. Preferably something with a priority and a unique effect. Maybe an Ice Type Stealth Rock like move with +1 prio, only available to him. RIP, Dragonite, Salamence, Rayquaza, Landorus and co
