If the probability for Poppmaid's gender is the generic 50/50 then it would take you two resets max theoretically. It still shouldn't be that hard to save before you get the starter then soft reset once or twice.

AlphaSapphire, because I didn't have a Mudkip in X yet. I boxed Fennekin AND Charmander though in X, and used various level 1s that I got from Wonder Trade instead.

I don't know what to do, really. I always go Water. I've tolerated Mudkip. I've tolerated Oshawott. This one I'm not sure about. I will be SR'ing for female though if that design ends up being real.

starters are only 12.5% chance to be female because IIRC that was the percentage of players who were female in gen 1, and they set the first gender probabilities in gen 2.

But yeah, it's possible that they reverse the gender ratio for this one.

I don't really see what the point of trying to get a Pokemon's sex to match its design, anyway.
