At first I was let down knowing some alola forms come from regular base forms (like in OP's pic), but I am hype thinking about catching regular pokemon from past gens and having them evolve into something unexpected in SM and future games (as long as GF doesn't spoil literally everything in trailers like ORAS).

So only alolan native exeggcute will evolve dragon you dont think youll be able to transfer a HA one over and evolve it dragon even if it has 0 EXP

I don't think you'll be able to. Alolan mons will probably have something in their stat screen (like how gen 6 had the pentagon) that denotes if it's from alola or not. It if wasn't caught or bred there, no dragon exeggutor for you
