Isn't there a species of tree that is ecologically dependent on periodical wildfires to raze the ground so that its seeds can take root in some specific way?

I can't remember what it's called but the tree's reproductive cycles developed that way and it only grows in areas prone to wildfire. It would be really cool to see a grass/fire Pokemon based around that concept, instead of these silly tiki or hot-pepper ideas...

A tiki or a pepper always seem uninspired to me. I personally think (or hope, rather) that Bounsweet will evolve into a Grass/Fire pomegranite based on their relation to grenades (called grenade in french for example.) It would adopt the ability to explode as a defense mechanism because of its propensity to be swallowed.
