Yeah, that's what my biggest issue was. XY seemed more fleshed out and grander/bigger. ORAS just felt like they plugged in maps without changing anything, so visually it just ended up being boring in comparison. I didn't even finish because I just kind of lost interest around the seventh gym, which is a shame because RSE were my favorites growing up.
