I could see Popplio getting special treatment. They seem to be trying to make it the "main" starter as it was used in the E3 gameplay and featured a lot in the trailers. It's a lot like Froakie- everyone hated at first and now everyone is being super hipster and loving it. Then it'll get a cool final evo and special treatment in the anime.
