Challenge mode for white 2

I think you need to get a challenge key from someone with black 2, since beating white 2 just gives you the easy mode key.

That said, I've heard easy mode can be surprisingly tricky due to how underleveled you are, but I can't speak for that myself.

But yeah, unless you can streetpass it from someone with Black 2, I think you're out of luck.

I've had a similar problem to you, for my method to work you will need 2 handhelds (preferably the same for best results).
The only downside is will need to order an r4i (around 12 USD) unless you already own one.
Basically how I did it was I got a modified version of Black 2 which already had both keys unlocked, loaded it up on the r4i card and transferred the keys onto the cartridge version, this method will allow you to keep it all on the original cartridge and let you transfer to X/Y.
