I should probably note that Gladion might not use Type: Null in battle one. The Japanese trailer cuts to what appears to be a second battle indoors with him so he might have the two Pokemon from before + Type: Null in the second battle.

Still, the fact the're more than one Pokemon alone makes me think this'll be better than XY in that regard, and that's all I could really ask for.
