I have been a Amourfag for the last few years and i honestly want Lillie to replace Serena as she seems to be a pretty interesting companion who could add a new dynamic with Ash as someone who hates Pokemon battles and might be that Ultra Beast, then add in that she seems to be a relative to whats obviously the real Evil Teams leader and maybe Gladion and it just makes me want to see how that would be handled with her as a Companion.

If the plot involves her disappearing for a short while or something, and that "short while" lasts a couple island challenges, that'd translate to multiple months' worth of episodes. That's why such things don't really work.

My point was that Ash/Serena isn't a "ship", it's an actual pairing that exists in the show. It makes sense that people that were making up headcanons due to the lack of existing ones would jump to that. It makes less sense that they'd just make up some new headcanon the instant Serena stops being a travel companion. Okay so Ash wants to become a Pokemon Master right? and that is beyond the title of Champion Master who is someone who has defeated the E4 and Champion correct?

But you first need to become a Conference Champion by winning the Pokemon League Conference and then to become the Champion Master you need to defeat the Elite Four of that region and the Champion, then i would presume that to become Pokemon Master there would be some sort of World Tournament where the Champion Masters compete for the title of Pokemon Master?

I want Ash to have friends who are totally new in the Pokémon world, not like Serena but less familiar and more developed. I know we (probably) get Mallow, but it would be tight if Ash had a friend like the S&M protagonist to be his "student". Be exactly like Ash from the original series except he has daddy Ash to travel with.

I guess I'll skip to the end. Your options are a time skip in which Ash is allowed to win if being a child is your issue, or Ash realizes that winning was never the focus of his journey and finds either another purpose or lives his days journeying forever.

While for Lillie, they could have it go deeper than that. A relationship that starts out fresh and shallow going deeper as the plot progresses. I'd want Ash to save Lillie in the end turning her back to normal if ever the plot really is about Lillie being a UB.

This new summary makes it seem like the group has already split. Just by the wording. But I guess it could be the case they are helping around the city doing other things.

Either we have other eps to explain that or they've been helping with the repairs. I don't too well see why with the last one, Ash has no reason to stick around. That's what confuses me on this matter. Either they've been faffing about for a long time, or we're going in medias res. Why would they do the second one unless it's to be certain there will be no follow ups beyond this point, we're tying up all loose ends now. There are at least 4 Thursdays beyond this point, we're still unsure of what they're doing with that. With nothing else to think of, I can only wager set up for Alola, if not also addressing the massive decision that faces Serena. This was going to happen regardless, but why wouldn't they have their goodbye for Clemont? I wouldn't expect it to be that emotional, save for perhaps Bonnie. Perhaps they couldn't make a whole ep out of it, I can understand that. After all, the only other thing we would need to address is Ash leaving and Serena being conflicted. However, also by skipping that, we are left with coming in to an issue that we didn't see begin. Not unless we went straight to Vaniville to recuperate after the disaster, only to be met with the idea that Ash has to go home. (or something with a similar persuasion) The idea is that we would be leaving Clemont hanging with just saying goodbye to him as he has to take care of the gym. This way, they have no loose ends. (though this would imply that they don't intend to do previous character-focused specials beyond the gen ever again)
