Male-only Kangaskhan would be great, but I doubt it because Megamom. But who says it has to Mega Evolve? It's its own thing.

Some kind of living fossil (pic related) would be great too, but they're probably avoiding anything that's not Gen 1 (which means cross-gen evos are probably out too).

As for what's (more) plausible... Alolan Machamp & Golem to round out the trade evo quartet, and maybe even Alolan Lapras, because it's a crime that something with dat bulk is screwed over so royally by having a massive liability like Ice-type.

Not sure how it'd make sense for Alakazam to become Fighting type. I guess whatever new Dark type that hasn't been revealed yet terrorized them or something. But it just seems like something that has potential to be really awesome and I fell in love with the idea as soon as I read it.

Ideally it would get its own mega, but I get the feeling that, while megas won't be retconned, we won't be getting new ones this gen. If that's the case, then I can see it being some situation where the mega stone only works on the original form because the Alolan form's DNA has changed and therefore doesn't react with it.
