The closest thing could be a Komodo dragon, unless it is reserved for Salandit's evolution.

I can see it Dragon/Steel due to the scale design and colors and description, the final stage could fly with Levitate but a quadrupede land dragon would be more realistic.

It it gains a Steel subtype go for Bulletproof, being immune to Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere and Focus Blast is much better than being able to switch in on some situational Mega Gardevoir and Sylveon, especially when Sylveon has several checks and counters anyway. Won't consider Aurorus a threat for a team despite teh fact it has access to Refrigerate Hyper Voice.

Also if this Dragon pseudo will also have a set that can abuse Curse, Dragon Dance or Sword Dance, then maybe Soundproof could be an alternative but Bulletproof so far looks much better.
