I've been here for like 5 years.
I've seen the rising of gay bit by bit especially in /b/ but recently it feels like it just skyrocketed.

He's not your rival. He's an admin to the enemy team and also has a monstrously powerful Pokemon. Not to mention he most likely doesn't give a shit about the island challenges, or being the best trainer around, so theres no "rivalry" to be had.
