At most he's probably getting an "Unbound" form. They didn't really pay much attention to it in the trailers, apart from showing it as Gladion's Ace. It's also probably the reason Gladion is so chuuni, he's doing the whole "HOLDING BACK MY POWER" gesture, to mirror how Type: Null wears a mask restraining its own power.
