What is the point of introducing something so Pokemon-like to just not be anything like it? Its not exciting, its a gimmick for the plot of all fucking things. People play these games not only for battling and trading but for catching and collecting. Its te same reason why shitty variants like Spiky Eared Pichu and Az's Floette make no sense to me: one we never got and had a signature move all of its own, and the other was locked behind because they couldn't POSSIBLY make a Pichu variant for latter gens.

Maybe these things are from another dimension, but they are parallels to humans. It looks like Lillie in a way because it's this dimension's parallel to her. Perhaps it comes from a timeline where humans and Pokemon never deviate from each other.

Wasn't there a story in DPPt about how humans would marry or some shit like that? It would be interesting if humans and Pokemon were once biological inseparable, but we each evolved in seperate ways.
