The fossils from gen 1. You get them at level 5 and you're already at Cinnabar. And they evolve at 40.

used a Golduck in my original Diamond version playthrough. Went surprisingly well honestly. The psychic moves it got helped me grind for exp to get a Golduck faster. Overall a solid pick imo, would use again in a fun run.

I've always wanted to use a Shiftry but I got Sapphire in both generations, and used Breloom in Emerald. He seems fun though.
