Why not just name it Null?

Using the word "Type" in a pokemon name is needlessly confusing when that word is used for one of the largest mechanics of the game, especially when there are always so many fans just waiting to jump on any semblance of news of a new type.

Not to mention actually presenting the name in a way that it literally reads as if there is a new type called Null, and then labelling the whole thing as a normal type. Too convoluted for a pokemon name. The other language did it right calling it Code Zero or whatever the hell.

Form-changing abilities are exclusive. As in, literally always. Forecast, Zen Mode, Multitype, and so on. And no, Flower Gift is not a form-changing ability. Cherrim changes forms regardless of if it has the ability.

Every language but English Type: Null is Code: Zero. If I'm understanding this correctly there is already something trademarked with that name so they went with Type: Null. It's just a translation thing that got caught up in legal shit.

I'm really hoping that this is just a placeholder name to avoid spoiling further plot details with its real name.
