If you were to go on a pokemon journey, in which region would you start and which pokemon would you choose as your starter. But this time your starter can be any pokemon (except legendaries), like if you got one as a present from a distant aunt or something like that. So non-regional pokemon are fine.
Mine:
Region: Johto (just love the rural vibe and comfiness)
Starter: Rufflet (just having a little bird bro, which will evolve pretty late in my journey)

Region: Sinnoh or Unova. Sinnoh is beautiful and Unova has a lot cool places to explore.
