I just want to see some new pokemon. I don't think the middle evolutions will come out till CoroCoro, to be honest. I don't get why everything things they'll be shown tomorrow.

In the next CoroCoro they're literally supposed to be explaining Rockruff's evolution. So it seems natural to me for them to also reveal the starter's evos.

I also don't want to expect too much. The recently revealed things have been quite underwhelming without only one alolan form here or a z-move there.

I hope to see middle evos of the starters but I'm not expecting that.
And expecting and hoping for new Pokemon outside the starters, evos for currently revealed Pokemon like Pikipek would be nice.
Also want to see some more Trial Captains or other new characters.

Yeah, but the release is basically imminent as far as a monthly publication is concerned, so yeah, they might reserve the big scoops like starter evos for CoroCoro just so they have a selling point, but they might dump the motherlode on us for all we know with all the rest of the Alola forms, or the rest of the regular Alola dex or something like that.

Day went well. I have short shifts at work this week, which is really odd but I've been craving some serious down time to finish my Nuzlockes in preparation for Sun and Moon. Which I also plan to Nuzlocke blind, as I did with Y.
My first game was Blue, and I've owned every main series game except for Silver, Sapphire, Diamond, Black, and Black 2.

As for how I've stuck with the series, I guess it's just all around fun. There's always something to do. Story, EV training, IV breeding, completing the Dex, shiny hunting, competitive play, Nuzlockes.
I think I almost lost touch with the series around Ruby and Sapphire, though. I was mocked for playing Generation 2 games when Pokemon was considered "on the way out" around 2000 or 2001. Then my cousin had me level up and evolve some Pokemon for a little bit using the Gameboy Player Gamecube attachment. He popped in Sapphire and had me go through around 4-6 levels using Loudred, Lairon, and Vibrava. And seeing these new designs, especially Aggron and Flygon, made me want to get back into it.
A month or so later, FireRed and LeafGreen came out and I was a full-on Pokemon nerd again.
