He's assuming you used the Celebi Egg glitch but I don't think that's it. You cloned the egg right? Which means you couldn't have used the Celebi Egg glitch. The cloning process must have got fucked up (which it has a tendency to do, especially if you have 15 to 18 pokemon deposited in a single box if you're using the Box Cloning method) which caused the clone's index value to become an Egg instead.
