When the starters were first announced, I took an immediate liking to Popplio. It's cute, but it also has the most potential. I'm not surprised that the fakemon evolutions for Popplio are very diverse and unique in design. Popplio's design lends itself well to a number of creative interpretations.
I love the Pierrot-inspired design for Popplio2. Even if it does turn out to be fake, I feel it merits credit for being so culturally rich in inspiration. It's an ingenious blend of mermaid, circus acrobat, and Pierrot clown. It's a striking and very artsy design.
Popplio3 is elegant, sleek, and refreshingly feminine. I love the mythology of mermaids, and I think a Pokemon specializing in vocal attacks (like Disarming Voice) is very exciting. Its cool color scheme is pleasing to the eye.
I just love these designs, and I'm very excited to see them in the game. I was wondering if anyone else felt the same (whether for Popplio or the other starters).

I thought Popplio2 used to look a bit ugly, but more of the art made of her is starting make me warm up to her.

I'm with you, OP.

I love that art. Good to know there are other genuine fans out there

You have shit taste.

I respect your opinion.
I'm not here to change anyone's mind about the designs. I believe people need to discover these sorts of things on their own.
I just wanted to celebrate what I think are some excellent designs.

The original "leak" drawing doesn't do it justice
It look like some disney reject
I actually really like it. I think it would benefit from having a few more details though. Maybe a diamond shaped jewel on its cheek?
I like it.
I'll pick Popplio no matter how it turns out.

Listen my friend I don't want you to offend you but it sounds like you've been on this board too long. Just go outside for a day and take in something other than Pokemon. Just one day. You need it.
