I actually feel the opposite aside from Aromatisse, the other fairy types, and the starters I didn't like most of the last 3 gen Pokemon but most of the gen 7 Pokemon are my style sans the lizard that /vp/ sexualized and the bugs aside from Cutiefly.

I can't really choose, I've been loving Gen 7 so far, but Poppmaid is up there. Popplio was my #1 choice for a starter and Fairy is one of my favourite types so it ended up perfectly.

Other's would be Mimikyu, Turtonator, Wishiwashi (school forme), Mudsdale, Drampa and Salandit.

Sinnoh has the weakest lineup thus far for me overall, but Unova had a few I really liked and pretty much the whole Kalos dex is good to me.

But with Alola Vikavolt, Oricorio, and the Stufful lines are really the only ones I like visually, especially Vikavolt, which ironically its premise doesn't really impress me much. And the Stufful line is only my favorite so far by being carried by premise and lore.
