Megas aren't broken in VGC though (aside from maybe Kang, Rayquaza and Mewtwo). Gamefreak doesn't give a fuck about Singles. Pokemon like Mega Gengar, Mega Mawile and Mega Lucario who are too powerful for Singles can easily be dealt with in VGC/Doubles. MLopunny, Zard X, MSableye are top threats in OU yet how often do you see them used in VGC? In Gamefreak's eyes Megas aren't broken. A 6v6 Singles meta doesn't exist.

To be fair that also depends on the stats and moveset. For all we know Litten is a more appropriate choice because Poppolio has no decent attacks.
Use an example that we have more information on.
For example. Greninja would be a better choice against say a grass type than delphox because of its diverse movepool and protean.
