I wouldn't be surprised that if they're still willing to release it outside japan, they'll do it once the live action movie is nearly finished or when it premieres in theaters. This way they can milk some more money with it from its movie hype. It's not that important of a spin off game anyway, so I doubt they'll fear that people will lack the patience for it.
