I never used Rare Candies or Tms throughout the series because I didn't want to waste them. Even after the Tms became reusable, I'm still very wary.

I actually enjoyed XY and Im replaying it right using pokemons I never used. I should have done this before because Serene Grace Dunsparce is the most fun mon I have ever used.

I've only completed two Pokemon games my whole life. Blue and Gold.

I've barely ever completed my Pokedex's, and have no interest in collecting them all, since I already know what the Pokemon look like and do. If they were a complete mystery, I might be inclined too, but it's the same thing with Digimon, once I digivolve the ones I like, I lose interest.

My favorite part of Pokemon is catching Pokemon and evolving them, and I don't really like most Pokemon that don't evolve (besides Heracross and Tauros) I still like all Pokemon regardless, but it's unlikely I ever use ones with no evolution since theres no reward for me leveling them up.

The music for both Sectonia (Moonstruck Blossom) and Star Nova (P-R-O-G-R-A-M) were fantastic, though, and fit the separate atmospheres of both games really well.
