wormadam-trash is fine, it has solid typing, acceptable defenses, access to stealth rock, and infestation+toxic stalling. plus overcoat is good because it makes you immune to powders, spore, etc

sandy is more or less a crappy version of golem, but the bug typing can be handy since it resists ground and fighting

standard wormadam doesn't have much going for it other than its special defense stat, sadly

overall they have small niches, with some stat buffs they might even see some use
