That's reminds me of the funniest incident I saw yet, which happened like 5 weeks ago now.

I was in rhe park around 10 am because I didnr have to go in for work again till 1pm.

Seeing his audience becoming more intentive, says oops wrong one. He then rolls up his right sleeve and has another chart.

I'm dumbfounded at this point. The games been out maybe two weeks these tatoos are faded for what I'm guessing meaning they were 10 years old.

If you're on android I suggest pokefast. It's a quick scanner with almost the same scan area as pokesearch. Only downside is the ads and cool down time before scans.

If on iPhone I agree that Fastpokemap works great, I also like Pokeeye for its pokestop locations.

Machamp was something like 15th best against Snorlax with ideal set-ups. Machamps stats are around Gyarados level and the type of attacks should hurt but the actual raw damage of the attack aint that hot and doesnt add up to as much as a guy spamming say a 100-120 damage move

Same here. The rivers aren't even big, they're barely three feet across and Goldeen, Staryu and Seel are the most common spawns.

I evolved my first Starmie at level 22, but it'd have been sooner if I'd taken those roads more often because I literally always found Staryu near the rivers.

I finally have a decent Vaporeon, and it really shows how much better it is than most Pokémon (excluding Snorlax).

For weeks, my strongest Pokémon has been a 1600CP Slowbro with Ice Beam, and gyms (particularly strengthening them) were usually pretty difficult. Now I've got a 1400CP Vape with Water Gun/Hydro Pump (15A/0D/15HP, good enough) and it's just so good. Insane HP makes it outlast anything without super effective moves and good CP makes it hit like a truck.

Now I just need to find some candies to power it up. When it's at the same level as my Slowbro it'll have like 1800-1900CP and probably almost twice as much HP. Power gaps are really huge in this game.

I use my Jolteon to level up gyms with watermons. He's quite effective at that. Offing a watermon with 1400 cp with a 900 cp Jolteon gives you a great boost to level up a gym.

The difference is honestly not huge. It's not like in the main games where a difference between 30 and 31 can mean that you're getting outsped and one-shotted by your opponent's Talonflame, since your max level and others' max level differs anyways.

In this game, the most important thing is your pokemon's moveset - a 50% pokemon with optimal moves than a 90% one with crappy moves. IVs probably only really influence your HP by a few points and your CP by maybe a few dozen points. That said, I've hardly ever seen Pokemon with truly terrible (<40% or so) IVs which minimizes the effect of IVs even more.

The difference is really not enormous. Stamina in particularly doesn't matter at all.A level 30 Vaporeon has 190-201 HP and 2081-2414 CP. Since most Pokemon are above 50%, you're probably using a 60-70% Pokemon if you're not looking at IVs at all, and even if you are you're probably not above 95% - This'll net you a difference of around a hundred points in CP and about three points in HP.

If the game were turn-based this might make a difference, but since both your reaction speed, your phone's processor and your connection also differ between people those few points will probably not break your team.

Furthermore, a 0/0/0 Hydro Pump Vaporeon will win against a 15/15/15 Water Pulse Vaporeon. If you have a Pokemon with bad IVs but good moves it's worth training that rather than settling for mediocre moves but perfect IVs.

Well the 10% is only in most extreme situations. This game doesn't have turns and if the PvP will be the same tapping contest, IVs won't even make the difference between two otherwise equal mons thanks to specials in a lot of cases.

Using your high-CP pokemon saves on stardust and candies. Usually I try to find a balance, though. If the Pokemon's level is only 3 or 4 apart I might pick the one with the better IVs to evolve.If I have to choose between a level 10 with perfect IVs or a level 25 with substandard IVs the choice is easy though.
