Aside from dealing damage, will Z-moves have any secondary effect?
It would make no sense if only their animations are different.
I expect that it would be something like secondary effects of Pledge moves, which would create something like Swamp or Rainbow.
Inb4, Raichu's z-move creates Electric Terrain.

Raichu's exclusive Z is physical, while is obligatory electric Z is special.
Calling it now, Pancake automatically wakes you up for maximum resttalk combo
>>28204078
Normium Z is special, then?
>>28204093
Don't forget that Z-moves are 1 per battle, so it's barely even a combo even if that were the effect.
>>28204111
No. We already saw it and it looks pretty physical
>>28204150
Having a one time emergency button to cancel a rest/spore/darkvoid is still pretty good

Type Gems 2.0
Crap
>>28204232
So physical Uproar?
That would still make it inferior to electric terrain tho.
>>28204150
Yes. But Mega is also once per battle, and more so on specific pokemon. Still changed the game a fuck lot.
Z-Moves on the other hand, all pokemon can use them. While it might not be as impactful as Mega, I think, given the right additional effect, it can be a big change.

>I have not seen how it would play out in the game, so it's probably crap.
Great outlook there faggot.

Raichium or Alolaraichium?
Or maybe both?
