Make a Pokémon team for each generation. At the end create your team with 1 Pokémon from each Pokémon generation.
Rules:
>start with your favorite Pokémon from that generation
>Pick your second favorite Pokémon from that generation, but you can't choose a Pokémon whose type you already have in the team
>e.g. I have Blastoise, now I can't choose Poliwrath anymore
>if you choose a mega with a different type than the non-mega version, include all types as being in the team
>e.g. Charizard X counts as Fire, Flying and Dragon
>in the last team, pick 1 Pokémon from each generation and start with your favorite, than second favorite from those that are left, and so on
>e.g. I pick Blastoise, now I can't pick any water or gen 1 Pokémon anymore for the team
hard mode: no legendaries
You'll be sad who doesn't become a team member and surprised at who does. You're the grand champion of all regions. Your team consists of 1 Pokémon from each generation with a nice type variety. You have trained all your Pokémon to the max!. Suddenly some faggot comes up to you and challenges you to a fight. He has Landorus-T, Greninja, Charizard X, Scizor, Rotom-W and Latios. Can you win?
Mine. Nidoking is my favorite. Couldn't get Gengar in unfortunately. Surprised Ferrothorn made it into my last team.
Bumping this from the 7th page so I can do it later.

What's the rule on Alolan forms? Are they Gen1 or Gen7?
>>28204922
Since there is no gen 7 out yet and it's not part of the template let's say they are gen 1.
Didn't really follow the priority of my favorites, because I honestly couldn't bother but W/E
My all-time favorites is pretty accurate, though
Dropped my main man Swampert so I could get the others I like just as much on the last row
This rule about no duo-typing was a pretty useless rule, doesn't represent true favorites
Good taste but no so competitive...
Gen IV was really difficult because most of the Mons from that Gen I like are Water, Ground, or Flying.
If I'm going to fight a tryhard I might as well bring OU mons.
This was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
had to cheat for gen6 since it sucked
This was pretty fun OP.
Oh and I would lose.
Bump so this doesn't die before I'm finished.
GENERIC AS FUUUCK.

Thanks for putting the names. I wouldn't be sure otherwise.
It's viable. I used it X. It couldn't win against the faggot though.
This was a pain for gen 3-4.
Gen 1:
>Poliwrath, Nidoking, Scyther, Omastar, Jolteon, Flareon
Gen 2:
>Typhlosion, Noctowl, Donphan, Granbull, Sudowoodo, Ampharos
Gen 3:
>Swampert, Pelipper, Volbeat, Swalot, Grumpig, Banette
Gen 4:
>Lucario, Mothim, Lopunny, Garchomp, Tangrowth, Rotom
Gen 5:
>Gigalith, Seismitoad, Heatmor, Escavalier, Beheeyem, Simisage
Gen 6:
>MeowsticM, Dragalge, Hawlucha, Klefki, Gogoat, Greninja
Ultimate:
>Jolteon, Typhlosion, Grumpig, MLucario, Gigalith, Klefki
This was way harder than I thought it would be, especially with the later gens. Swap out MLucario with MLopunny & Typhlosion with Donphan if we're aiming for more originality & less of the "special" pokemon.
I counted megas as Gen 6 pokemon, also I evolved my favorite pokemon who were NFE (with case-by-case exceptions).
Hope that's okay.

Major fire weakness.
